12 September 2007: I'm stunned at how well The Bodyguard has been received on FF. It's been reviewed 1429 times, favorited 464 times, over 500 people have signed up for chapter alerts and it's been chosen for 72 C2S. Oh yes, and it's apparently being translated into Russian, Italian (login required), Hungarian and into Portuguese for the Brazilian Harry Potter fans.

May 2006 - I thought I'd celebrate posting my work to Gorillaz Adult by rewriting my Gorillaz slash fanfictions, starting with Living Doll.

Living Doll

Title: Living Doll (May 2006 rewrite)

Story Notes: Before Gorillaz, Murdoc runs over 2D (then named Stu-Pot) and is forced to spend the next year looking after his comatose victim.

Chapter 1 - Saturday Boy - The star employee of Uncle Norm's Organ Emporium meets his most difficult customer so far. Rating - G. Warnings - Slashy attraction.

Chapter 2 - Nasty Bad Boy Crew - We meet the friends Murdoc had before Gorillaz and Stu-Pot meets Murdoc's left front tyre. Rating - PG-13. Warnings - Dumb thugs, drug use, swearing, criminal activity.

Chapter 3 - Blood Bound - Stu-Pot's is under Murdoc's car and is bleeding to death after an aborted ram raid. But Murdoc has a secret that can save him. This is fairly mature, even gruesome, so be warned. Rating PG-13 at least - Serious car accident, swearing, angst.

Chapter 4 - The Damage We've Done - Murdoc's trial. How did a satanic bass player, who had run down an innocent kid, escape going to jail? Rating - G. Warnings - Swearing, angst.

Chapter 5 - Home of the Living Dead - Kong Studios isn't the only home of the living dead in Britain. Rating - PG-13. Warnings - Swearing, a monobrow and ugly jeans, people living the lifestyle of the old and completely f***ed.

Chapter 6 - Satanic Eye for the Comatose Guy - Death to the monobrow! ;-) Murdoc fights off Stu-Pot's mullet-making Mum and turns him into the pretty boy we know and love. Rating - PG-13. Warnings - Swearing, slashy attraction, a monobrow but not for long!

Chapter 7 - Life's Refugee - Murdoc gets 24/7 custody of his comatose ram raid victim and takes him on holiday. Much fluffiness ahead. Rating - PG-13. Warnings - Slashy attraction, adult baby fetishists and sick garden gnomes.

Chapter 8 - Satanic Convention - Out on the wiley, windy moors, we'd roll and fall in green! Finally, I get to merge my favourite song, "Wuthering Heights", with my current favourite pastime, writing slash! If Kate Bush isn't turning in her grave, reading this will probably put her there. ;-) This chapter has Stu-Pot dominating Murdoc. At night, on a moor, in a frigging, burning, red satanic symbol. This could only be Satan's work, I tells ya! ;-) Read on, children of Satan. Bwahahahaha! ;-) (Locked and visible to friends of Gorillaz Adult only.) Rating - NC-17. Warnings - Swearing, satanic rituals, buttsex in a satanic symbol.

Chapter 9 - Wicked 360 - It's the anniversary of Murdoc and Stu-Pot's accident and Murdoc celebrates Stu-Pot's continued comatose state by taking him out for a spin in the new Geep. What's the worst thing that could happen? ;-) Rating - PG-13. Warnings - Swearing, car accident, angst.

Chapter 10 - Living Doll - The living doll is revealed. Rating - PG-13. Warnings - Slashy attraction, swearing, adult baby fetishists.

Epilogue - My Band - Murdoc puts his master plan into action, but will 2D be a part of it? Rating - PG-13. Warnings - Slashy attraction, swearing.
